Our Story
Blue Nile Group formed its first manufacturing outfit in 2006 under the name Blue Nile Wire Products Limited, and it manufactured a wide range of wire products at Kikuyu under the brand name KIFARU.
The unit has grown rapidly since then. In 2012, we embarked on a major diversion to manufacture hot rolled steel products under the name Blue Nile Rolling Mills Ltd.
We also manufacture TMT bars "KIFARU 500+" using BELGIUM technology. Though each division is independently managed and run, they are at the same time governed by common policies and goals. In the last eight years the manufacturing outfit has grown from strength to strength to become one of the leading Commercial business houses in Kenya.
The Blue Nile Rolling Mills is a well-known success story among the steel manufacturing sector in the country. We believe in installing state of the art technology and keeping on upgrading machinery in due time. This helps us to produce high quality steel and maintain the safety standards. Our products are K.E.B.S approved. Over the years the group has developed a large regular client base which includes some of the top business houses of the country.
Our staff comprises of top notch people with immense experience in the field of technicality, finance and marketing. The directors of the organization are shaped by their experience in major companies both in Kenya and abroad.
